CRISPR KI/KO Mouse Service

Macrogen uses CRISPR gene editing technologies for the efficient provision of knock-in (KI) and knock-out (KO) mice. A KI mouse is one in which a new gene has been inserted after removing a specific gene such that the new gene is expressed instead of the original gene. A KO mouse is one in which a specific gene has been removed to suppress its expression. Macrogen uses a CRISPR system with simplified experimental steps to produce and supply KI/KO mice at lower cost and in a shorter time frame.
