CombiMatrix experiment requires 2 ug of total RNA for eukaryotic expression and 3.5 ug for prokaryotic expression. MicroRNA experiments require 100 ug of total RNA prepared with Triazol-based total RNA prep method (Do not use resin-based kits which result in the loss of small RNAs). For the quality of Total RNA, an A260/280 ratio of 1.8 or more is recommended for the clear identification of the band of 28S and 18S rRNA in case of electrophoresis. For Hyb & Seq and Influenza microarrays corresponding DNA templates of 2 ug amount is needed.

Usual turnover time of CombiMatrix Array experiment is 6 weeks including the design of probes. Once the design is done, analysis is completed within 4 weeks of sample receipt. In case of unavoidable delay, the person in charge shall advise the client in advance.

After an experiment starts, related data are stored for 6 months; remaining samples are disposed of accordingly after the results are sent.
