Since the BAC Chip is based on the method of detecting numerical and structural changes rather than the extent of mRNA label gene expression of cancer-related genes, the separation between normal cells and cancer cells becomes more distinct. The Karyo Chip genomic profiling service can identify oncogenes and tumor-suppressor genes by measuring chromosome DNA copy number variation and structural changes in the same sample through the array CGH constructed by Macrogen.
