What assurance do I have that the mouse produced is SPF (Specific Pathogen Free)?
The SPF conditions of a mouse are verified through microbial monitoring. In Korea, KRIBB (Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology), which was certified as an ICLAS Monitoring Subcenter during the ICLAS General Assembly and Conference, conducts verification inspection.

Macrogen requests KRIBB for mouse verification inspection on a quarterly basis and attaches microbial monitoring results for the corresponding mouse at the time of mouse delivery.
How do you produce SPF mice?
To produce SPF mice using non-SPF mice, we induce superovulation through the mating of a male mouse and a hormone-processed female mouse, extract an embryo, and transfer it to a surrogate SPF mother.
